UPMG Webinars is committed to protecting your privacy in all aspects of our business. Because we take this commitment seriously, we want you to understand the type of information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it. These privacy practices apply to the Web site that you were viewing when you clicked through to this policy and to any other products, services or Web site owned by UPMG.
Information Collection and Use
The information we collect is gathered from but not limited to the following sources: registrants of our events, recipients of our e-mail newsletters or broadcasts, and registrants of our Web site.
Web sites: When you visit one of our Web sites, we collect your computer's IP address, the date and time of your visit, browser type and the pages you visited. When you register for one of our Webinars, please note that you are agreeing to allow the information collected to be shared with presenters and sponsors of the event. These entities may contact you in reference to the Webinar. UPMG will not share any of this information with companies or individuals who are not presenting or sponsors unless otherwise indicated. We use this information for internal purposes, such as trend analysis, Web statistics reporting, security audits and gathering broad demographic or computer usage information. We may share composite information with our advertisers and business affiliates to help them better understand our services. Personally identifiable information is not shared.
UPMG collects personally identifiable information when it is provided to us, such as when you register on one of our sites; subscribe to an e-mail newsletter or webinar or purchase one of our products. Unless otherwise noted, your e-mail address will never be shared with third-parties.
UPMG does not send our subscribers URLs that include third-party tracking. Some advertisers on our Web sites may use third-party companies to serve their ads. Often these third-party advertising companies employ cookies or other technologies to measure an ad's effectiveness. Use of this tracking technology is subject to the privacy policy of the third party.
Webinars and Similar Events: When attending our Webinars or other similar events, users must first register. During registration, users are required to give their personal contact information, includinghackear postal gusanito name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, etc. We may also collect demographic information such as job title and purchasing responsibilities. For internal purposes, we use this information to communicate with users and provide requested services. Demographic information may be utilized in a general manner for marketing purposes.
For any services that require payment, we may collect credit card information. If this information is collected online, the credit card number is encrypted during transmission. Payment information is used for internal billing purposes only and is not otherwise shared.
Privacy of Children
UPMG understands that children's privacy is of the utmost importance. Our network of sites is not directed at children under the age of 18. However, we do not monitor the age of our audience. We do not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.
Opt-Out/Correcting/Updating Personal Information
Our e-mail newsletter and e-mail broadcasts utilize a self-opt-out system via a link at the bottom of every email. This is the preferred method for you to manage our e-mail contact with you. If a user wishes to update or change his/her personal information or be removed from a UPMG database, the user should contact Event Manager Frances Stewart at fstewart@upmediagroup.com.

Our Web sites contain links to other sites. UPMG is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these other sites. We encourage users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each Web site to which we may link that may collect personally identifiable information.
Notifications and Changes
Any changes to our Privacy Policy will be made on this page. If there is a change in how we collect data or how that data is used, we will post notices of the change on our Web sites and also notify the affected users.
